- Reigo5 is the vocalist and MC of currently active band, tick (went on hiatus after Reigo's death but resumed activity early this year).
- Takuya only saw Reigo5 in person once (I believe), and that was one of tick's concert. Takuya was already very inspired by him.
- UVERworld performed tick's cover song from time to time, entitled 志　(kokorozashi) That's why Taku has a sort of love-hate relationship with the kanji (he mentioned something about this somewhere, can't remember -3-)
- Takuya has visited Reigo5's family before (I believe he was invited).
- Recently, UVERworld gave Reigo5's family signed CDs i want one - -;;



If I didn't remember wrongly, Reigo5 commited suicide.
Might also be the reason why taku thinks it's not necessary to live too long?

Of course I believe committing suicide is a sin...pretty sad to just take your life D: (unless there's some good reason to it) Anyway, it is sad having your idol to pass away, at least he got to meet the family and he still looks up to him.

Uhh..same thing goes to me..Never heard Reigo5 before..( before I met Takuya, I mean..) And he commited suicide..? Reminds me of Leslie Cheung somehow..*fell silent* But..but..it's not a good way to end your life, right? I hope I won't resort to killing myself once I become a houseman..I heard housemanship is like hell..

Okay..I think I better bring this topic back on track..Since Takuya is greatly influenced by Reigo5, do you think there is any similarities in Tick and UVER in term of music style?

different from buck tick, tick is relatively unknown. It's extremely hard to find their songs when Reigo5 was still alive. The CD 'kokorozashi' (the one that UVER did a cover on) went on auction for pretty high.

I have tick's 2008 album but it refuses to extract - - You have to ask mama or rid about that.
